Are you interested in being a CES Student Leader?
We are looking for students who are:
- Leaders
- Responsible
- Positive
- Outgoing
Expectations:
- Creative
- Team Players
- Innovative
- Comfortable with public speaking
- You must be able to attend all meetings, both morning and lunch.
- If you miss 2 meetings, you will be removed from Student Leadership.
- You must be able to keep up with all of your classwork and homework, including when you are pulled out of class for Student Leadership activities.
- You must not have any behavior problems in the classroom, or on the playground.
- If you make the Student Leadership team this year, but you begin to have problems with classwork, homework, behavior, or get a referral, you will be removed from Student Leadership.
What Student Leadership does:
- Helps with school related events (Pancake Breakfast, Fall Family Festival, Flavors of Cerritos, Outdoor assemblies, Praise Notes, Toy Drive, Announcements)
- Plans fun events for students
- Attends the district’s Elementary School Leadership Conference
- Holiday storytime
- Attends district board meeting
- And Much More! We are open to new, fun, and creative ideas from you!
