Q. What does PTA do and how does it support CES?
- Provide classroom allotment for teachers, rotation teachers, and principal
- Pay for periodicals for every class (ie. Scholastic News)
- Pay for online educational programs used in classrooms (ie. Moby Max, Brain Pop)
- Subsidize field trip expenses for all grade levels
- Pay for bus transportation
- Purchase school planners for upper grade students
- Support library with library donation and Birthday Book Club on a monthly basis
- Purchase shirts for Reading Olympics, Track Team and STEM Olympics
- Purchase new equipment for the school such as our new Sound System
- Support Red Ribbon Week, Kindness Week, and Career Week
- Host Back to School, Holiday, and Appreciation Week luncheons for Staff
- Purchase snacks, donuts, popsicles etc for all students for special assemblies
- Decor for Music Concerts
- APEX Fun Run
- Monthly Community Events (ie. Family Fall Festival, Family Movie Night, Lunch with Loved Ones, and Family Science Night)
- Reflections Art Program + Art Awards Show for families
- Special "end of year" treats for K-5th
- Support 6th grade promotion activities such as yearbook party, 6th grade dance, and promotion ceremony
- Yearbook production
